| Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro Compatibility
This guide will help you to set up your Windows 2000/XP Notebook with a "Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro" chipset to work properly with VGAtor.
Our example uses the 20" Apple Display - the procedure is the same for all displays.
The steps below may also work wiith "Mobility Radeon 9200" or "Mobility Radeon 9800" chipsets. Please let us know if you have been able to set up one of these chipsets successfully!
Please make sure that you have installed the latest graphics drivers and insure good working condition of your system prior to installing VGAtor!
1. Follow the instructions in the VGAtor Quick Start Guide (included with VGAtor) to install your hardware successfully and start your computer.

2. Launch the "Display Properties Panel", select the second display device and activate "Extend my Windows Desktop" checkbox. Please click the "Advanced" button. |

3.Go to the "Displays" Tab and click the "Monitor" button (see red arrow). |

4. Deselect the "Use DDC information" checkbox and make sure that you have selected the highest available resolution in the "Maximum Resolution" drop-down list. Leave this dialog by clicking the "OK" button. |

5. Now you can choose the correct resolution for your display. Our example uses a 20" Apple Display, therefore 1680 x 1050 is the correct choice. |
